Job Description
New opportunity specializing in the manufacturing of pre-manufactured modular homes for multi-family living, senior living, commercial retail, office, and hospitality developments. Modular homes are the concept of manufacturing entire buildings in a production environment, and then shipping pieces off to new build construction sites to be assembled by the general contractor.
Looking for an experienced Drywall Lead with knowledge of MN building codes along with experience with residential, wood framed commercial, Steel Stud, and new build construction. Looking for a candidate who can lead a team of 6-7 employees.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to read a print
- Strong work ethic
- High production level for sheetrock
- Steel stud framing
- Ability to work alone and or without supervision
- Experience in taping and mudding is a plus
- Responsible for hand tools
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience of skilled work in Drywall
- Ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of job sequencing
- Knowledge of methods and techniques of performing skilled drywall and steel stud work
- Ability to work in collaboration, lead, and be a team player
- Skilled in interpersonal communication by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Production drywall hanging
