Job Description
New opportunity specializing in the manufacturing of pre-manufactured modular homes for multi-family living, senior living, commercial retail, office, and hospitality developments. Modular homes are the concept of manufacturing entire buildings in a production environment, and then shipping pieces off to new build construction sites to be assembled by the general contractor. Looking for a candidate who can lead a team of 6-7 employees.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable in Finishing Drywall
- Sand, Patch and repair Drywall and Plaster
- Work on high ceilings, using scaffolding or other tools, such as stilts.
- Paint and Wall Covering Experience a plus
- Responsible for hand tools
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience of skilled work in Drywall taping, Finishing
- Ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of job sequencing
- Knowledge of methods and techniques of performing skilled drywall and steel stud work
- Ability to work in collaboration, lead, and be a team player
- Skilled in interpersonal communication by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Production drywall hanging
